When we purchased our first dinghy, we thought it was going to be perfect. The reviews for the Pelican Scorpio, online, raved about the boat. Once we received it, we thought it was a nice boat except for one itty bitty problem. The gash in the hull, at the buoyancy, tank left us doubting its worthiness. From the Pelican Scorpio we concluded that we would like our new dinghy could be shorter in length. Our thinking is that a 8.5' to 9.5' boat would work just as good and would fit on the bow of the boat a lot better than the Pelican Scorpio.
Next finding a boat!
